Hansen Bay is a leading Sports Hypnotherapist and Mental Skills Coach working with performance-standard athletes, players and teams particularly track & field, badminton, martial artists and boxers. He has also worked successfully with recreational and school athletes of any sport and any level who are ambitious to achieve peak performance by being fully focused and motivated.

Hansen’s methods are tried and tested with excellent results. Together with Grace Yip, the former sport psychologist from Singapore Sports School,  they transferred  these methods into Win Before You Begin, an acclaimed one-day workshop conducted at schools and sport facilities around Singapore. This workshop is open to everyone and is specially designed to equip you with the mental tools to perform at your Ideal Performance State (IPS)  AGAIN and AGAIN, whatever your sport, whatever your level.

Besides individual sports hypnotherapy sessions and group workshops, Hansen also works in general practice providing sessions for business-motivation, smoking cessation, weight-loss, confidence and other anxiety-related issues. All sessions are conducted on a confidential basis abiding by NGH rules and regulations as well as the professional code of conduct on ethical practices.

About Hansen…

A former lecturer for Sport Management, Physical Education Teacher, Sports Coach and Group Exercise Leader, Hansen is also the director of two companies-Vitage Fitness Pte Ltd, a company that manages sport related events and programmes and Activo Pte Ltd, a company that provides specialized sports equipment.

Hansen has been in the sport, fitness and education industry for more than 15 years and his qualifications include:

Hansen’s passion for sports, health and fitness is seen in his involvement in different sports. He competed in the 110m hurdles during his schools days and in the year 2000 he was second runner up in the National Aerobics Championships.

More recently in 2005, Hansen became the first Singaporean to compete in professional Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand. He has also trained with the Sanshou (Chinese boxing) national team and competed in amateur boxing.

Hansen is often quoted on newspapers and magazines such as Shape, Ezyhealth and Motherhood. He has also been interviewed on radio and television. He is the founder of Rope Sports Singapore and an author of two books.
